Welcome to my portfolio! I spent many years creating and teach Engineering and Computer Science classes informed by my career as an engineer. I now work at MIT and help K12 educators set-up and run Makerspaces.
My academic training is in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, and Mechanical Engineering, with a focus on the Engineering Design Process. I have learned through life experience that the most fulfilling work is when you can learn, have fun, and be creatively expressed while accomplishing a meaningful task. I am fortunate to have had that opportunity in my middle school and high school classes, in the variety of projects I do outside of work, and in my current job at the MIT Edgerton Center.
I seek to inspire students to explore engineering and technical fields where they can be creative and have fun while taking on challenging work. On these pages you will see the curriculum I have created, the jobs I have had, the projects I have launched or participated in, and see why I find engineering to be such an inspiring field.
Thank you for visiting!
